Job Safety, Inc. (“we” or “us”) runs PTP Builder at jobsafety.training and ptpbuilder.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account details such as your name, email address, company, role and the projects you are assigned to. Your site admin or employer may provide these when they add you.
Your mobile number, if you or your site admin add it so we can send you text messages.
Pre Task Plan content, including tasks, hazards, job location, crew member names, safety training card details and signatures.
Usage information, such as when you sign in, the pages you use and basic device and browser details. Some of this is collected through cookies.
Contact and billing details if you contact us, sign up for our newsletter or your company pays us. We do not store full card numbers.
How we use information
We use information to run PTP Builder, send account emails and text messages such as invites and PTP reminders, provide support, improve the service, send product news you can unsubscribe from at any time, and meet our legal obligations.
Who can see your PTPs
PTPs you submit can be seen by admins at your own company and by the general contractor running the job, and can be emailed to the people set up to receive them on that project.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run PTP Builder, such as hosting, storage, email and text message providers, who may use it only to provide those services. We also share it with integrations your company chooses to turn on, with authorities when the law requires, and with a buyer or successor if our business is sold or merged.
Text Messages
If you or your site admin give us your mobile number for PTP Builder, we use it only to send you job invites, sign in codes and Pre Task Plan reminders. Message frequency varies, usually one reminder per workday. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.
Mobile numbers and text messaging consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and they are excluded from all other sharing described in this policy.
Cookies and Do Not Track
Our website uses cookies to keep you signed in and understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but some parts of the site may not work. Our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.
Security
We use encrypted connections and role based access to protect information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can update your account details in PTP Builder or through your site admin. You can ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@jobsafety.training. Because PTPs are job safety records, some may need to be kept for the general contractor’s records. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time, and reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new date and email account holders about important changes.
