These terms cover your use of PTP Builder, the website and app at jobsafety.training and ptpbuilder.com, run by Job Safety, Inc. ("we" or "us"). By using PTP Builder you agree to these terms. If your company has a signed agreement with us, that agreement controls wherever it differs from these terms.
Using PTP Builder
You may use PTP Builder for your company's own job site safety work. Keep your login private, give us accurate information, and do not resell, copy or share PTP Builder or its content outside your company, or try to misuse or disrupt it. Site admins are responsible for the people they add.
Your responsibility for safety
PTP Builder helps you plan work safely, but it does not replace your own judgment, training or the safety rules for your site. You are responsible for reviewing every PTP and JSA and adapting it to the actual conditions and hazards on your job. Using PTP Builder does not guarantee compliance with OSHA or any other requirement.
Your content
You own the PTPs and other information you put into PTP Builder. You allow us to store, process and share it as needed to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy, including sharing PTPs with your company's admins and the general contractor for your job.
Our content
PTP Builder, including its templates, hazard library and toolbox talks, belongs to Job Safety, Inc. You may use it while you have access to PTP Builder.
Text messages (SMS)
If you agree to texts, we send job invites, sign in codes and PTP reminders. Message frequency varies, usually one reminder per workday. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. Texts are optional, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your mobile number.
Fees and access
Fees are set out in your order, proposal or invoice. We may suspend or end access for nonpayment or if these terms are broken. You can stop using PTP Builder at any time, but fees already paid are not refunded.
Changes to PTP Builder
We may update, add or remove features and content at any time.
Disclaimer and limit of liability
PTP Builder is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from the use of PTP Builder or its content, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount your company paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to cover our costs and any claims that result from your misuse of PTP Builder or from breaking these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by New York law. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in New York County, New York.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new date, and continued use means you accept them.
